Today KDE Neon performed an "Offline update"... while I sat there unable to work for 10 minutes I reminisced about (one reason) why I hated windows so much and deleted it from every computer I own.
Sorry for the "rant post" but while I was waiting for the longest boot in the past 5 years I was surprized to find out that this was just released as a "new feature".
In the past 5 years, there has not been one KDE neon update that failed, interrupted me, or prevented me from working... Fortunately KDE is adding an option to disable this (coming in 5.22). Thank you to whoever added that.
Please do not add any more windows anti-features to linux distros... KDE neon is great software, please keep it that way!
